Over 15 years of software development in different areas of responsibility and technology stacks have taught me how different approaches are needed to achieve the desired results. Sometimes my solid theoretical and practical training during my computer science studies serves me well, sometimes a proven standard pattern is the right way, and sometimes it is simply a question of experience and the intuition acquired through it to find the solution to a problem. In the end, however, it always comes down to people.
Working as a team on a project or even on a vision and involving everyone in such a way that they can contribute their best to the joint success is the real secret and the challenge. Working with customers and product managers to shape their wishes, ideas and visions, questioning them and turning the best of them into software is my passion. But I also like to create new things away from the computer and work on car restoration or DIY projects for myself, my family or my friends. There is always something to do and standing still is alien to me.

Nevertheless, new legal and social requirements are constantly driving the challenges for appropriate IT solutions. High availability, data security, GSDVO or cloudification are challenges that are still difficult for some companies to master today and require appropriate support from technical specialists. Topics such as virtualization, cloudification, lean & agile working principles or even the partial automation of processes based on artificial intelligence are promising solutions in many areas. The constant expansion of my know-how is my driving force to implement with customers what helps the most.
